From within Washington Park, the tower becomes somewhat more assertive, yet retains its delicacy.  The asymmetrical form produces a dynamic, shifting profile as the visitor winds through Olmsted’s landscape.  The tower’s presence through the trees is beguiling and somewhat mysterious, also helping via perception of scale to reinforce the vastness of the park.
